The School Board of Highlands chose EyeMed Vision Care as your vision care vendor beginning January 1, 2006. EyeMed has thousands of providers nationwide including several located in Highlands.
EyeMed Vision Care Offers substantial savings (up to 40%) on eye examinations, frames, lenses, lens options contact lenses, and laser vision correction. You can choose from thousands of optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, or optical retailers. Special Eyes Vision Discount Program
(vision discount program is unrelated to EMPLOYEE VISION INSURANCE)
Eye Specialists of Mid Florida’s Special Eyes Vision Discount Program is FREE and available to all employees, their spouse and dependents. Employees are not required to have the School Board’s vision coverage in order to participate. Special Eyes offers a discount on routine comprehensive eye exams plus discounts on frames, lenses, sunglasses, LASIK, contact lenses and accessories.
In order to participate, the employee must complete the enrollment form and submit directly to Eye Specialists at this Email or fax.
