Recently, the Sebring High School HOSA chapter participated in the 2025 Gulf Coast Regional Conference. HOSA is an international student led organization for young people preparing for careers as health professionals.

SHS Health Science instructor Amanda Parker shared, "Our talented students represented Sebring with pride as they competed in a variety of healthcare-related events, including medical terminology, forensics, and even hands-on medical assisting skills. Their

dedication, hard work, and passion for the medical field were on full display. Over 15,000 students competed for only 2,000 spots at State Competition, and I’m confident a few of these will be SHS students! Results are released on Feb 4th. No matter the results, they are already winners in our eyes!"
