The school Board of Highlands County provides each employee with term life insurance from Mutual of Omaha.  Employee may opt to purchase additional coverage up to $500,000.

$20,000 provided for full-time instructional and non-instructional employees.

• $50,000 provided for full-time administrative and non-bargaining employees.

• Eligibility:  Employees of the School Board of Highlands County are eligible for a term life insurance policy on the policy's date of issuance or the completed date following the waiting period.
