Threats and Weapons Information Course - 2024-25
The Florida Commissioner of Education requires that we make training available for parents and guardians of students that includes the consequences for making a threat or false report via FortifyFL involving school or school personnel's property, school transportation, or a school-sponsored activity. The course has been made available to all parents and guardians.
Weapons Possession - Firearm
Students who are found to be in possession of a firearm on campus will be recommended for expulsion.

Weapons Possession Firearm There is ZERO TOLERANCE for weapons possession. | Possession of a firearm or weapon, as defined by Section 790.001, Florida Statutes, that can inflict serious harm on another person or that can place the person in reasonable fear of serious harm. Florida Administrative Code Rule 6A-1.0017. This offense includes the following objects as defined in Section 790.001, Florida Statutes: Firearm means any weapon (including a starter gun) which will, is designed to, or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; any firearm muffler or firearm silencer; any destructive device; or any machine gun. The term “firearm” does not include an antique firearm unless the antique firearm is used in the commission of a crime.” Weapon means any dirk, knife (with a blade length of 2.5 inches or more), metallic knuckles, slungshot, billie, tear gas gun, chemical weapon or device over 2 ounces, or other deadly weapon. | Having a gun or weapon that can seriously hurt someone or make them scared.
