The Florida Department of Education has identified 11 resiliency characteristics to help students overcome any challenge. December's featured characteristic is perseverance. When you persevere, you keep trying even when things get hard. Students who develop perseverance are not only enhancing their resilience, but also fostering a growth mindset! Motivate your child to complete challenging tasks until the very end!

Smencils ($2), Smickers ($2), and Scented Keychains ($3) will be sold at Crafty Christmas on Thursday, December 12th from 5:30 - 7 & Friday morning (December 13th) in the cafeteria during breakfast!
All students will enjoy a special holiday meal on December 18th, but only parents of PK, 2, 3, & 5th Grades will be able to reserve "lunch tickets." Forms were sent home today to these grade levels.
All RSVPs (with $) must be turned in by December 13th at noon. No reservations will be accepted after this date /time.

During dismissal, LCE was inadvertently placed in a lockdown. The lockdown was quickly lifted, and there was never any threat to the campus or danger to our students or staff.
